On Sunday the transgendered Ukranian military spokesman Sarah Ashton-Cirillo took to social media to claim that he had been indicted in Russia. Cirillo also made several other wild claims in that tweet, including that Putin is already dead.
This messaging from Ukraine’s military spokesman presents American Democrats with problems on multiple fronts. If Cirillo is correct, Donald Trump is not a Putin puppet as claimed by Democrats. If wrong, Ukraine is now verifiably putting out substantial false propaganda.
Cirillo has placed Democrats in a no-win situation. It remains to be seen if any elected leaders will address the statement from Ukraine.
