American Airlines is catching heat for blaming a 9-year-old girl after one of their flight attendants, Estes Carter Thompson, was caught filming in the plane’s bathroom. Thompson allegedly recorded several young girls by attaching his phone to the toilet seats.
In a stunning court document, American Airlines argues that the girl should have noticed the recording device on the toilet.
“Defendant asserts that any injuries or illnesses claimed by Plaintiff, Mary Doe, were directly caused by Plaintiff’s own actions and negligence,” American Airlines stated.
“They claim she knew or should have known about the visible and illuminated recording device.”
Thompson faces accusations of possessing videos of girls aged 7, 9, 11, and 14.
This is beyond outrageous.
