As of March 22nd, Best Buy and GameStop, two of the better known tech retailers in the U.S., have limited shoppers to delivery and curbside pickup. Â
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic both companies have discontinued in-store shopping.
At Best Buy , you’ll get “enhanced curbside service” where you can not only pick up online orders, but ask store staff to bring and sell products that you couldn’t order online. Â
Delivery is still an option, but will only drop off products at your door.  Best Buy has paused in-home installation and repair during this scaled-back period.
GameStop’s move is very similiar but you’re limited to conventional curbside pickup and online deliveries. The companies don’t have much choice with more and more states having shelter-in-place orders, and officials urging the public to stay at home as much as possible and reduce the spread of the coronavirus.
