Wrestling legend Sid Eudy, who electrified fans under names like Sid Justice, Sycho Sid, and Sid Vicious, has passed away at 63, WWE confirmed on Monday.
A towering figure in the squared circle, Eudy headlined WrestleMania twice squaring off against Hulk Hogan in 1992 and The Undertaker in 1997. His career was marked by dominance, as he claimed the WWE Championship twice and secured WCW’s top title on two occasions as well.

Eudy’s son, Gunnar, paid tribute on social media, remembering his father as “a man of strength, kindness, and love,” revealing that Sid had fought a battle with cancer for years.
Standing at an imposing 6-foot-9 and weighing 317 pounds, Eudy brought an intensity to his character that fans couldn’t forget. With his wild blond curls and unhinged persona, he was a force to be reckoned with. Whether as part of Ric Flair’s legendary Four Horsemen in WCW or as Shawn Michaels’ muscle in the WWF, Sid left an indelible mark on the wrestling world.

Eudy’s impact stretched across countless iconic WWE storylines, including his role as the special guest referee in the 1991 SummerSlam showdown between Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior. Known for popularizing the Powerbomb, Sid’s legacy as “The Master and Ruler of the World” continues to inspire and influence wrestlers today.
In a statement, WWE honored Sid as one of the toughest and most thrilling superstars in the sport’s history, a legacy that continues to echo in wrestling rings worldwide.
