2023 was a contentious year for Minnesota lawmakers. Perhaps one of the strangest legislative moves in American History took place in early 2023. The Minnesota Human Rights Act was revised. The Minnesota Human Rights Act prohibits discrimination based on race, religion, disability, national origin, sex, marital status, familial status, age, sexual orientation and gender identity.

On the surface that sounds great, however a closer look reveals much more.

Rep. Leigh Finke, D-St. Paul, who is transgender, wrote House File 1655, also called the “Take Pride Act.” The bill creates a new definition for “gender identity” in the Minnesota Human Rights Act and makes it a violation to discriminate against people based on their gender identities in housing and education, for example.

The bill also removes a line on the existing definition of “sexual orientation” that says: “”˜Sexual orientation’ does not include a physical or sexual attachment to children by an adult.”

Why would anyone strike a line from existing legislation that protects children?

Sadly, the legislation passed and was sent to Governor Walz’s office where it was signed into law. The above picture shows that text that was added as well as the text that was removed.

Lots of energy has been expended to call JD Vance weird, however I find any legislation that protects pedophiles incredibly weird personally. Is Tim Walz a trojan horse to advance a perverted far left agenda?
