A former aid to New York Governor Kathy Hochul was arrested along with her husband Tuesday morning after their Long Island home had been raided by the feds earlier this year, according to the FBI.

Linda Sun and her husband, Christopher Hu, were arrested on Long Island, the FBI told the New York Post.

The specific charges against Linda Sun and Christopher Hu remain undisclosed as they are scheduled to appear in court for their arraignment later this afternoon.

Sun, who served as Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Kathy Hochul starting in September 2021, left the position in November 2022 to become a Deputy Commissioner at the New York Department of Labor. She was dismissed from that role in March 2023 after misconduct evidence surfaced, according to Avi Small, a spokesman for Hochul.

Earlier this year, in July, the FBI conducted a raid on the couple’s $3.5 million home in Manhasset. Additionally, Sun’s husband, Christopher Hu, operated a liquor store in Flushing, Queens, and was involved in several other business ventures.
