Reports reveal that during a drag show performance and workshop at Sutton High School in Massachusetts, a male participant, allegedly wearing white lace panties, exposed himself inappropriately.
Parents of students, including those as young as seventh grade, expressed fury over the event, questioning the appropriateness of such performances in an educational setting.

Concerned parents voiced their objections to the school board, questioning the educational value of exposing students to drag queen performances. One parent queried, “What life skills are we teaching these kids by showcasing drag queen performances?”
During the performance, set to music from the film “Mean Girls,” students were reportedly exposed to sexually suggestive content. Additionally, there was an extensive presentation on various groups supporting LGBTQ+ youth, raising further concerns among parents.

Describing the incident, a parent recounted, “The kids could see under the skirt and then proceeded to do cartwheels. You can see panties. I don’t think it’s age-appropriate.”
Initial reports about the incident surfaced on Libs of Tik Tok, highlighting the sexually charged nature of the performance targeted at both students and staff.
School authorities defended the event, stating that it was part of a conference promoting Worcester Pride, a local LGBTQ+ organization. Instead of issuing an apology, the school district doubled down on their stance, asserting that a tolerant society respects diversity and promotes inclusivity.

Critics argue that such events normalize inappropriate behavior and undermine traditional family values. They fear that future conferences at Sutton High School may include workshops on even more controversial topics, such as stripping or escorting.
In light of these concerns, many parents are opting to homeschool their children, seeking to protect them from exposure to inappropriate content in school environments.
