Many argue 2024 is our nation’s make or break election to fix the youth.  Here’s why I believe the opposite is actually true:

Every presidential election seems to bring about one surefire result: young voters will vote blue. History testifies to such a claim.

Republicans have not won a majority vote of people under 30 since the days of Reagan and his influence. Democrats have won every year since 1992.

However, Obama’s election in 2008 marked the beginning of the left’s exponential benefit from the votes of the youth. Their advantage over the GOP has ended in 34, 2330, and 24 point leads in the respective years since. With the average margin of victory being a whopping 27.75%.

That begs the question: how do Republicans compete with or, if impossible, even dare to break the Democrat’s seeming stronghold over the youth vote in 2024?

It’s rather simple. Putting America First = Putting Gen Z First.

Though Vivek Ramaswamy’s campaign was unsuccessful in the end, he taught the right an important lesson: the vote of Gen Z matters.

If the election were today, who would you be voting for?

He didn’t merely say this in word only, which he rarely if ever said explicitly, he put it into practice. He simply met the youth where they were.

He realized our parents and grandparents are the only ones who tune into cable tv. So, he joined forces with popular social media influencers, and made viral content. He recognized young people rarely turn out to campaign events. So, he held events on college campuses”“ oftentimes even agreeing to a spontaneous push-up challenge.

My generation fell in love with it. We saw the talking points decline, and his authenticity shine.

For Donald Trump, though it may look slightly different in practice, the principle must not.

As he continues to champion the America First movement our nation needs, he cannot forget the cries of Gen Z: a daily life not hindered by a crippled economy, confidence in our domestic and foreign security, and a restoration of American pride once again.

My generation is struggling to start a family let alone work for a week’s wages, so they can provide for themselves basic necessities like groceries and gas. Joe Biden has made each of these more difficult by every measure.

The Biden administration’s failed attempt”“ if we can even call it an “attempt””“ at solving the open border crisis has only led to increased crime rates. The blood of my fellow Gen Zer, Laken Riley, is on their hands.

Gen Z has been betrayed by their pick in 2020. Now it’s time to right a wrong, and use our vote to make a meaningful impact on our nation’s future”“ which is us after all.

Recent polls show Biden is out of touch with the youth. Trump is ahead with young people.

If the right can manage to make these polls reality and cut into Biden’s 24 point differential in 2020, 270 electoral votes are all but Trump’s for the taking in 2024.

Don’t believe me? Millennials and Gen Zers combine to form 48.5% of the 2024 election’s entire electorate”“ 7% more than 2020.

Many say we need an election victory to turn the tide with the youth. I say we need a youth victory to turn the tide in the election.

Donald Trump’s key to 270 depends on flipping Gen Z. The Democrats have already done the heaviest lifting for us. My generation has spoken. We want change.

The ball is in Trump’s court. Winning begins now”
