The founder and chief editor of The DC Patriot Matt Couch sustained significant damage to his residence overnight when multiple tornados swept through Arkansas.
I spoke with Matt on Sunday afternoon, and he expressed gratitude that neither he nor his daughters were injured in the event. He mentioned that his home sustained damage to the roof in a bedroom area his fencing was completely destroyed and a significant amount of clean up would be required to remove debris in his yard. Couch’s daughters were with him at the time, and none of the family was injured in the event.
Matt Couch has shown to be resilient and will most certainly bounce back from this latest setback. After losing a portion of his leg due to a medical incident over the last year, Matt is now nearing full mobility again. Fences, roofs and landscaping can be replaced. All of us at the DC Patriot family are just glad that Matt and his family escaped without injury. We will continue to pray for the Couch family as well as the other families who have been impacted by the violent Arkansas storms. Sadly, there are storm related deaths being reported in different areas of the state.
