Palm Coast, Florida lies at the heart of Florida’s 6th congressional district, and any path that Randy Fine has to victory must certainly run through that area. Originally developed in 1969, the original development plan encompassed 48,000 home sites on approximately 42,000 acres.  Much of the area that now encompasses Palm Coast originally stood as swamp.  The water may have been removed from Palm Coast, however the swamp critters still run wild in the area.

Enter Ed Danko.

Danko is the former vice mayor of Palm Coast and a failed candidate for county commission in 2024.

Ed Danko is so toxic that he was censured by his own council just before his 2024 exit.

Ed Danko’s own Republican Executive Committee just this week made a motion to remove Danko from the local county chapter due to his endorsement of a Democrat candidate over a Republican candidate during November’s mayoral election.

It can be assumed that Ed Danko has anger management problems.  In 2018, he was allegedly removed from a local GOP in North Carolina for making threats toward a local business owner.

Ed Danko has previously been a subject of reporting here at the DC Patriot for attempting to leave an anonymous comment on our website.  Ed Danko left a comment on our website using expletives in response to our reporting.  Upon the publication of the article I immediately received messages from a mutual connection in Florida asking that the article be removed.  When I refused to remove the article, I then received a phone call from what appeared to be our mutual friend.  The call displayed the name “possibly” on my phone along with a photo of my friend.  I thought this was odd since that number is saved in my phone, but this call was from an entirely different number.  Upon answering the call, I immediately realized that Ed Danko was on the other end of the phone and had actually spoofed the name in an attempt to get me to answer the call.

In response to my reporting factually on Randy Fine’s campaign, Danko has now turned his vitriol on independent journalism.
